Hi...today's post is for Freshly Made Sketches #310. 
I was thinking I was in the market for some new floral
stamp sets and dies. I saw this sketch and thought what
set do I have already I could use...

I remembered this set by SU! - Rose Garden thinlits. I liked
the size and the leaves. I was also thinking I wanted to do
something in navy and white. So this what I came up with...

Paper Players # 367

Hello Everyone! Happy mid-week. Today's posting is for the
The Paper Players Challenge # 367.  This is my first time
playing a long with this challenge and the sketch is sweet!

My card has a fallish, masculine theme. I like the colors and I

had a chance to dig into my paper stash and find this bundled

hay look DP. The Wondrous Wreath from SU! is one of my 

favorites still. 

The deer head punch is from EK.  Love it in done with the

 wood grain DSP. Well that's it for tonight.

 At least for posting...maybe...

CAS(E) this Sketch # 244

Hello again. Well it's Tuesday evening and I have been playing
around with a new set up for taking pictures. Bought some new
bulbs, a new woodish background and playing with props.
This card is for the CAS(E) card challenge. This is my first
entry and glad to play along!

I love the sketch but when I sat down to create I was stumped!

I played around with a few ideas but nothing seemed to come together.

So my card is ok. I thought maybe just skip this one and catch the next

challenge, but that seemed to drive me to make something!

So there it is. Glad to have found another challenge...I am loving being

able to join in on the fun and see what others are coming up with.

Happy weekend everyone! I did have to work today,

but off tomorrow! This post is for the FMS 

Challenge #309.  I decided to make a masculine

card for the challenge. I remembered it is

my brother in laws birthday next month so

I'll have it ready before then and not rushing

the night before it needs to go into the mail...

cards with this set and...I have a matching die set shhhhh...

First I want to say this is my first entry in the 

Stamp Ink Paper Challenge.

I wasn't sure if I should enter since I actually

didn't have the lemon/ lime green color.

Not in paper or ink! I do like it, just haven't

got around to ordering it...yet :)

Look at these colors! Curiosity got the best of

me and I thought I would give it a go...  

Isn't that green great! I actually had to go
and buy that paper yesterday! Also, I
had decided not to buy any new fall
stamp sets or dies...well I am regretting
that now!  With that said, I had to make my own
pumpkin. I could have used something
besides a pumpkin, but that's what I was
picturing when I saw these colors.

So that's my entry...cutting it close but it
fun joining in.

FMS #308

Good evening and happy mid week. This is a quick post 

for FMS sketch # 308. I am happy to say I was selected 

as one of the princesses last challenge! That was a nice

surprise!

I have been wanting to play with the new Painted Harvest

set from SU! I like the faded/aged look of the flower. 
I used Lost Lagoon, Mossy Meadow and Black. 

I noticed this is the 3rd card I've made
with this gingham ribbon...I should probably
put it away now ;)

As You See It Challenge # 160

                                                                                     

So this is the my first entry in the As You See It Challenge!

I had just found this blog with their last challenge the day

before it closed. I missed out because I was called into work!

But I'm ready now! I am new to blogging ( a few months ;) and

 have only been making cards and paper crafts since early 2014,

 so all of these challenges are new to me and I love them!

This challenge is a blast because we are not following
a sketch, we are challenging ourselves with time. Above
is the color theme, oranges and neutrals, but the time
to complete the card is in 10 minutes! How fun!

I actually made 3 cards! Timed myself each time and
I was able to finish them under the 10 minute guideline.
Knowing I was being timed kind of made me feel nervous
...lol! But I did it.

Here are all the cards I did. I couldn't make up my mind
so I chose the simplest of the 3.

My times for the cards above were:
8.30, 6.02 & 9.20
