I wanted to challenge myself, and use something

other than the obvious.

 Pretty sketch and I took it

in a little different direction...

Instead of using the horizontal bands

of the sketch, I used gently draping

pine branches.

Here was my second option for my CASE
entry. It's ok...I pictured it differently in
my mind than how it came out. So now
I have an extra Christmas card to
give to someone...so it worked out ;)

Swirly Happy Birthday

I've been using this

Swirly Bird set a lot lately.

I liked how the circular shapes

mimicked the shape of the fruit.

I used 5 colors from the photo.

I added the sequins to add the shine

from the fresh fruit.

Loved the sketch and wanted to

join in on the fun! I thought of

this stamp set when I saw the sketch.

It's from a Paper Pumpkin kit.

I almost ALWAYS forget about

the cute and kit only stamp sets

that come monthly ;)

This is a pretty clean and simple

design for me. I wouldn't say CAS is my

style so when I do one I think comes

out ok, I'm a little surprised :0
