Retro Rubber Challenge #74

Hello...and Happy Wednesday! Middle of the week and
it's my day off.  I will be posting a couple of entry's today.
This one is for the Retro Rubber Challenge #74. This
is my first entry and I was so excited when I found this
blog! What a great idea to motivate us to use our
older stamp sets. Now I haven't been stamping for long,
but, I do have some older sets that I have picked up in
yard sales, or from demonstrator's cleaning out some
of their stock. Anyway, I am glad to participate!

So for this card I used Four Feathers from Stampin Up!
I believe this set and the dies are from their 2014 Holiday
catty. I just love this sweet little set and I love feathers!

Wow...Thank You Design Team!!

I used Soft Sky paper and inks from Stampin Up! I then decided
to emboss a couple of the feathers in silver so they would stand
out a little more. Love the layout of this sketch, didn't change that
at all.

Well, that's my card. I had fun joining in and enjoyed viewing
how everyone else interpreted the sketch. See you soon...

I like the feathers you've stamped in the background too and the touch of bling from the sequins. Thanks for joining us at Retro Rubber this week.

  4. Hello Melissa, we are so happy you found our challenge blog and decided to participate with this gorgeous card.
I love feather stamps and when they come with a set of dies, even better.
You picked lovely colors for your card, I love how you created your own background by stamping more feathers with the tone on tone method, looks beautiful.
Thank you for sharing with us at RETRO RUBBER, hope you continue to play next time.
    Hugs,
    Maria Rodriguez.
