Hi! I'm  posting this card for the

As You See It Challenge #163

 I love the sketch! I chose

not to use the banners.

So many others had made such lovely

cards with them, that I decided to 

find another component.

I decided to use a tone on tone look

for the main shape instead of white or 

another color. I thought it was a good base 

and gave it a soft look.

I decided on flowers instead of the

banners. I arranged them like a garland

so they looked like they were in a windowbox.

I just received this set the other day and

wanted to use it. I noticed I didn't miss

 I am excited to have been invited to be a 

guest designer for this challenge!

I decided to go with a Thanksgiving card

since we are so close to the holiday

and, it is the theme of the set I

decided to use.

This sweet set is from Close to my Heart.
It's from their 2015 Holiday catty. I love the
sentiment script which I heat embossed in copper.
The leaves are whimsical looking and I
stamped them as if they were floating and falling
off trees. I then fussy cut the entire front layer
for a dimensional look. I added a few extra
leaves for again  more layers.

I love this look! The chalk board look, throw in red,

had lots of ideas...

I was going to use a DSP red & white stripe paper,
but liked the movement of this one instead.
I embossed the trees in Silver and
the sentiment in White.
I was going to use a bright green, then decided
on this jump off the page Lemon Lime
that we are seeing so much of.

Christmas tag

I was working on a Christmas tag for the

Simon Says Stamp 25 Days of Christmas Tags Challenge.

When I opened my tablet this morning, (I guess)?? I forgot

to refresh it because it said I had 13 hours left  before

Linky is closed.

So when I was ready to add my entry, the link was closed :(

LOL...well next time I need to pay closer attention!

I decided since I made it, I'll just post it and try 

to get in on the new challenge.

I've been loving Navy Blue for a while little now. It's my
